The Story of the Ordinary is a children's book with small moral stories for children. The stories are genuine and give a meaningful lesson.
Junk Man tells that you should not judge a person based on someone else's view. Rayna believed everything that Akaisha told her about the Junk Man, but the reality turned out to be different. So, you must not believe anyone until you know them personally.
Potter's Sticky Clay narrates that a person should find ways to stay happy. They should not be upset by what's left behind, but they must find out new ways, just like Abir did.
Man with the Hand of gold narrates that everyone is important in their own way. No work is small or big, not even people. It's the human who has differentiated everything like poor and rich, old and young, small and big. Aadab is the girl who realised it late, but am glad, she did.
The illustrations made the reading much more significant. I loved all the illustrations and all of them were apt with the stories narrated. The kids have the liberty to learn about empathizing with the characters and that, they can choose the expressions that best suit the characters. This book can be a great learning experience for the children.
Kudos to the author for this amazing book. Well done!
