An intriguing and emotional Read.

Ice Town is a book based on the true events of the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. The whole country was terrorized, yet the author tried to weave a beautiful story around it.

It revolves around two main protagonists, Sagar and Anjali. The story began with the terror attack and Sagar learns the fear to lose Anjali. He finds her lying lifeless in the hospital and it hurts him. He trails back in the past when he arrived in Mumbai, the city of dreams.

Sagar came from Nanded to Mumbai to make his dreams came true. A mere 19 year old teenager came to a metro city when he didn’t know any details about how to survive in that city. He met Anjali, a student in the engineering college. He was very much fascinated by her. He saw her sitting by the tree in the midnight. People called her a prostitute but Sagar’s heart couldn’t contemplate the fact. Anjali was a straightforward and blunt person, but Sagar didn’t mind it. He loved the daring and blunt Anjali. He even learnt the fact that Anjali is in a relationship. He feared to say his feelings. And in the present, he’s on the verge of losing her. He actually lost her.

It’s a book of love, friendship, distress and hope as well. Yes! We love, we laugh, and one day we leave the world. That’s the eternity. A beautiful read. All emotions are beautifully weaved in the story. One who believes in dreams and love, should definitely read this.
